偶然在LSE的podcast上看到這場名為《Our Urban Future: the death of distance and the rise of cities》的演講,是由哈佛經濟系的教授,Edward Glaeser,主講。
- One major effect of globalization has been an increase in being smart.
- You become smart by being around other smart people-we are a social species.
- Cities, like Boston, New York and London and Bangalore make that possible.
- The same death of distance that did so much to hurt Detroit helped save Boston and New York.
